All clients will require an initial consultation to discuss the best option for you and you will be supplied with a treatment plan and cost of treatment.
JLClinical offers a choice of Cryotherapy or Advanced Electrolysis, both being effective treatments for various skin imperfections such as Skin tags, Cherry Spots, Sun damage/pigmentation, Red thread veins, Syringomas, Milia, Warts, Verrucae. For advanced treatment of Seborrhoeic keratosis and benign moles, documentation will be required from your GP or Dermatologist to confirm diagnosis.
Cryotherapy is a safe and effective way to remove skin lesions, with minimal risk of scarring or other complications. It is the use of extreme cold produced by liquid nitrous oxide for the fast, effective and safe solution for the controlled destruction of unwanted skin imperfections.
Advanced electrolysis, or electrocoagulation, is a safe and effective way to remove small skin lesions, using a safe electric current to remove the lesion immediately and cauterise the blood vessels that feed it.
Choosing between Cryotherapy and Advanced electrolysis depends on the specific skin condition, the desired outcome, and individual preferences. During your initial consultation, the differences, benefits, and potential side effects will be explained to you, enabling you to make an informed decision about which treatment best suits your needs
Mole Criteria for treatment
* The mole is no bigger than about the size of a blunt end of a pencil
* It is more than 2 years old (not new)
* It is a regular circular size and shape
*It is not bleeding, flaking or itching
* There is no inflammation or changing in size
*It is not showing any pigmentation on the surrounding skin or have any black areas or red edges
